Hinesburg Fire Department Swears In New Members, Expands Ranks

February 17, 2026 — The Hinesburg Fire Department proudly welcomed six new members to its ranks, continuing its tradition of service and commitment to the community. During a recent ceremony, three of the new members were formally sworn in as Firefighters, EMTs, and Cadets, marking the beginning of their service careers. The oath, administered by Chief Nadeau, represents a newly established tradition within the department and will be conducted for all incoming members moving forward, symbolizing the responsibility and dedication required of the role. Those recognized in the ceremony included FF/AEMT Nicholas LeBeau, Cadet Ethan Plante, and FF Denver Wilson, while AEMT Frank Koss, EMT James Sibelle, and Cadet Keegan Smith were also acknowledged as active members serving the department. Officials expressed gratitude for the new members’ willingness to serve, emphasizing the importance of continued recruitment and dedication in maintaining strong emergency services for the community.
