Eastampton, NJ - On 9th March 2026 a drill focused on vehicle crashes and extrication, with a training format designed to challenge less experienced firefighters. Unlike typical sessions—where crews are split 50/50 between experienced and inexperienced members for problem-solving—this exercise allowed the newer firefighters to work through scenarios independently. While senior firefighters were eager to assist, they respected the exercise parameters and “understood the assignment.”
The department praised the firefighters for their excellent performance and effective problem-solving throughout the drill. Special acknowledgment was given to Flynns Towing in Eastampton for their continued support, donating vehicles for the department’s training exercises.
