Woodbury Fire Department Responds Swiftly During Blizzard of 2026

Woodbury, NJ - During the Blizzard of 2026, the Woodbury Fire Department managed a total of 17 service calls between 1800 hrs Sunday and 1800 hrs Monday. These incidents included downed power lines, tree removals, and EMS assistance calls.


To effectively handle the increased demand, additional staffing was put in place. Beyond the regular three-member duty crew, several committed department members voluntarily returned to the station, ensuring continuous support and rapid response throughout the storm.


The Woodbury Fire Department remains dedicated to serving and protecting its community in all weather conditions. Appreciation is extended to its members for their unwavering commitment, as well as to the residents of Woodbury for their ongoing support.
