Washington, NJ - Since 5:30 PM on 23rd February 2026, the department has responded to 64 calls for service. Crews staffed three stations over the past 24+ hours, handling numerous incidents involving downed trees, hanging power lines, and providing assistance to their BLS partners.

The wet snow created significant hazards throughout the area. Residents are urged to stay clear of any low-hanging wires and to call 911 if they encounter one. Additionally, the public is reminded to clear snow away from fire hydrants, as this can save valuable time during an emergency.
