Dunn’s Corners Members Train in Acquired Structure

March 15, 2026 — Members of the Dunn’s Corners Fire Department participated in hands-on training in an acquired structure, providing a realistic environment to practice essential fireground skills.


The session focused on search and rescue operations and roof ladder work, allowing firefighters to sharpen techniques in a real-world setting outside of the station. Officials noted the value of this type of training in building confidence, coordination, and operational readiness.


The department recognized the dedication of its volunteers who took time out of their week to participate and continue improving their skills to better serve the community. The training also highlighted ongoing recruitment efforts, encouraging those interested in volunteering to reach out and join the team.
