March 19, 2026 — The Ashaway Volunteer Fire Association announced an upcoming blood drive in partnership with the Rhode Island Blood Center, scheduled for Monday, April 13.

The drive will take place from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Bloodmobile located at 213 Main Street in Ashaway. Officials are encouraging community members to sign up in advance to reserve a donation time and help support local blood supply needs.

Organizers emphasized the importance of blood donations and the critical role they play in supporting hospitals and emergency care throughout the region.
