DAVIS PARK, NY — March 16th — The Davis Park Fire Department convened their first seaside meeting of 2026 after arriving on the season's first ferry to Davis Park.
Although ferry service signals the start of the busy season for the Fire Island community, department officials stated that the DPFD is active throughout the winter months. Even when there is no ferry service to the island, members continue to gather, train, and plan for emergency responses.
