Photo by RON JEFFERSJersey City firefighters battled a labor intensive 3-alarm fire that involved two attached mixed occupancy buildings on Grand St., March 16th. Flames spread up walls and into ceilings. It took almost three hours before it was placed under control, according to the Jersey Journal. Three firefighters suffered non-life-threatening injuries. Several families were displaced due to the fire.
