This article is a direct street report from our correspondent and has not been edited by the 1st Responder newsroom.

Dennisville, NJ - During this past weekend’s winter storm, Dennis Fire responded to 20 calls, including reports of downed trees and wires, a generator fire caused by a fallen tree near a residence, and several motor vehicle accidents.

The department expressed gratitude to all who plowed roadways, ensuring access for both emergency responders and residents. Special thanks were extended to Dennis Township Public Works for sending plow trucks to Myrtle Avenue at the height of the storm when Dennis Fire was dispatched to a possible structure fire. Appreciation was also noted for DJ Repici LLC, which not only kept the firehouse free of snow but also assisted in freeing an ambulance that became stuck en route to a hospital within the district.
