West Hurley, NY — March 2nd — A memorial service for Lieutenant Vincent Campbell of the Sawkill Fire Company was attended by members of the West Hurley Fire Department. To honor Campbell's contributions to the fire service and his community, firefighters from several Ulster County units came together.

There was a drive-through ceremony at the memorial where friends, relatives, and firemen could pay their condolences. A customary fire service "final alarm," which honors a firefighter's final call and years of service, was also part of the celebration.
