West Hurley, NY — February 22nd — As part of the department's continuous readiness program, members of the West Hurley Fire Department in New York completed a full day of training on Sunday. While fulfilling their usual educational obligations, volunteer firefighters evaluated operational skills required during emergency responses.

Volunteer firemen participate in internal exercises and training sessions for many hours each month in addition to answering calls.
