A brand-new 104-foot Rosenbauer Cobra platform was put into service by the Lake George Volunteer Fire Department. The department's capacity to manage elevated operations, rescues, and structural fires in the Village of Lake George and neighboring Warren County mutual-aid regions is strengthened by the airborne apparatus. The truck has a Cobra rear-mount platform, a Rosenbauer EXT body, and a Rosenbauer COMMANDERTM chassis. It has a 500-gallon water tank and a 2,000-gallon-per-minute Waterous CSUC20 pump. For elevated master stream operations and ladder access, the aerial equipment has a 104-foot vertical reach. Hot-dip galvanization offers corrosion protection for long-term endurance, and the aerial portions match the color scheme of the device.
