This article is a direct street report from our correspondent and has not been edited by the 1st Responder newsroom.

Queensbury, NY — February 10th — In order to examine coordinated emergency operations, the South Queensbury Fire Department organized a training exercise that brought together firefighters and partner responders. During the evening session, crews worked side by side, concentrating on collaboration, communication, and scene safety during accidents in the Town of Queensbury.

These kinds of training exercises keep firemen and EMS workers ready for medical emergencies, structural fires, and other situations requiring multiple agencies. To improve mutual-aid operations and make sure personnel can collaborate successfully on emergency scenes, departments around Warren County frequently hold joint drills. Coordination, equipment familiarity, and response efficiency are all enhanced by training with partner agencies, according to officials.
