Dresden, NY — February 11th — Members of the Dresden Volunteer Fire Department led a training session on apparatus inventory and equipment preparedness. During the training, firefighters checked the tools and equipment on department apparatus to ensure that everything was in the right place and ready for use. The training also assisted to ensure that no equipment was missing or lost while reinforcing knowledge with the apparatus arrangement. Inventory checks, according to officials, provide essential training for younger members in understanding where equipment is stored and what instruments are required for certain emergencies.
