Commack, NY — February 22nd — Members of the Commack Fire Department came together to honor and remember Police Officer Glen Ciano. Firefighters came together for a moment of remember to honor Officer Ciano's community service and the long-term impact of his work in public safety. The homage represented the close relationship and common mission of the Commack community's fire and police departments. Department members stated that honoring fallen first responders is still an important practice in the emergency services community.
