This article is a direct street report from our correspondent and has not been edited by the 1st Responder newsroom.

This family lost everything in an apartment fire on January 15, 2023. The husband, Ndriqim Grezda, and his wife Egzona and twin children, Ari and Arsi, age 11, got out safely. Then the husband and wife went in and banged on everyone's door. Their actions saved many lives. Unfortunately, one person didn't survive. The New Jersey/New York Firemen's Association presented them with gift cards, as we do to any residents in a town that has our clothing bins in it. Pictured is President Roy DeYoung, 1st Vice President Bryan Hennig, 2nd Vice President Tony Chiodo, Secaucus Fire Chief Fred Schneider and Secaucus Councilman and fire liason James Clancy and members of Secaucus Fire Department.
