Car down embankment on rt 80 in Saddle Brook

An SUV plunged down an embankment on Route 80 after the driver lost control of the vehicle on the afternoon of January 16th. on Rt 80 west. Shortly after 12:30 p.m. NJ State Police and Saddle Brook fire companies arrived to the area just after Exit 63 and found a SUV went off the road and landed on the bank of the Saddle River. The driver got out with no serious injuries.

 Firefighters disconnected the vehicle's battery, then Bergen Brookside Towing hoisted the SUV out. State Police are investigating.
