North Hudson firefighters opened up many ceilings and walls during a labor intensive 3-alarm fire involving a large 2.5 story wood-frame dwelling in 11th. St., Union City, Jan. 14th. On the scene, witnesses reported that neighbors pulled out an occupant, as flames were venting out of the windows, before the arrival of the fire department. The victim was transported to a local hospital by city EMS.
