On January 6th, members of the Florence FD attended training on Fireighter Escape Systems. The basic end user program was conducted at an acquired structure and included a classroom session, familiarization deployment skills and then window bailouts from a second-floor window. The upper floor bailouts progressed from basic to more difficult, concluding with firefighters exiting with blackout face pieces. The Gemtor Harness, Sterling FCX escape systems and training was provided by All Hands Fire Equipment & Training.
