This is a soft cover Fire Engineering book measuring six inches by nine inches and has 203 pages. This book starts off with thirteen favorable comments from noted individuals who have read it. I want to add my most favorable comment to this list to tell the reader that it is book to be read from the start of your career through to the end of it. It is a book that promotes appreciation of your being appointed to being a firefighter and doing the job right throughout your career. It starts by becoming one of the team by earning your into it. The right attitude is the most important. It should be your primary job as opposed to being a part time job second to another job you may have. Many who have jobs become firefighters to secure job security and benefits. They put their time in, retire and go back to their other job full time. This book promotes vital advice that one should adhere to from start to finish. It promotes safety, knowledge of your job in protecting people and property as well as showing respect for those we serve such a taxpayers, travelers and transients who pass through our jurisdiction such as truck drivers, bus drivers and what have you. At the end of each chapter are reflection prompts with two questions the reader is asked to consider. Going the extra mile, giving 110 percent and just plain doing the job you were hired to do to the best of your ability .is all about what this boom will show you. Teamwork is the key and this book provides yo0u with the blueprint to achieve it. The cost of the book is well worth the expenditure.
