Greetings and salutations! I just stumbled upon this forum, but I am sure some will recognize who I am (which may or may not be a good thing)....

Anyway, gladd to be here... will be poking around to see what I can learn from a more local forum. The City of Orrville has a 2-day training program coming up on May 1st and 2nd that I will pass along some information on as we finalize details in the next few days. So, mark your calendars because I am sure you will enjoy the classes. Friday's topic will be "Arrive Alive" where we will cover accidents involving apparatus response. Friday will be a class on "Transition from Engine Company to Ladder Company Operations" which is geared toward those departments who do not have ladder devices as well as the ones who do to help you decide when to call for the aerial and how the actions of the engine crews influence the operation of the ladders.
