The Whallonsburg Fire Department's hose and pump operations training was held on April 27.
Officials praised Dustin from the Essex Fire Department for helping with the practice and department members who participated in the hands-on training. While staff conducted their routine departmental training, the instruction concentrated on pump operations and hose handling techniques.
