Newburgh FD responded to 88 Benkard Ave on July 4th-for reported structure fire. Firefighters used hand lines and ground ladders to extinguished the inside

of garage-firefighters vented roof area. 55 plus gallons of oil went into Benkard Ave into catch basin-firefighters boomed just before catch basin. Orange County

HAZ-MAT contacted and responded. Deputy Orange County Fire Coordinator 36-10 & 36-14 was at scene. City/Newburgh Police blocked area off to traffic.

Fire is under investigation.
