Frenchtown, Montana — 16th December — Following storm activity, the Department Frenchtown Rural Fire District, located at 16875 Marion St., Frenchtown, MT, United States, Montana, reported that many trees and power lines were down around the district. Residents were cautioned by fire officials not to approach, drive over, or touch any downed power lines, stressing that all lines should be considered energised unless proven otherwise.

In order for firefighters and transportation officials to safely assist with tree removal, utility firms were attempting to shut down the impacted wires. Cleanup delays were anticipated because to the volume of dangers identified and the requirement to secure utilities. During ongoing recovery operations, district staff prioritized community safety while keeping an eye on circumstances, coordinating with utility providers, and assisting street crews.
