Tobyhanna Township — December 24 — Members of the Tobyhanna Township Volunteer Fire Company were called to a car collision on Locust Ridge Road in Tobyhanna Township at around 1:00 p.m.

The Pocono Pines station sent out Rescue Engine 41-2, and the Blakeslee station sent out Rescue Engine 41-3. The wounded motorist received medical attention and evaluation by Station 41 EMTs upon their arrival. In order to maintain scene safety, firefighters also managed traffic control and road closure. Before clearing, Station 41 units worked on the site for just over an hour. Thornhurst Volunteer Fire Company Station 54, Pocono Mountain Regional Police, Pocono Mountain Regional Emergency Medical Services, and J&J Towing were among the supporting organizations.
