BEACON, NY - On December 27, 2021, a Beacon citizen approached Beacon Fire Station 2 with a dog in distress. The dog was having trouble breathing. The on-duty firefighters discovered a large ham bone stuck in the dog's mouth. The firefighters calmed the dog and forcibly removed the bone. Chuck is doing well now.
