In the late evening hours of Sunday July 13th 2025 the Yaphank Fire Department was dispatched to a reported structure fire on Rainmond Street. First arriving units encountered smoke showing on arrival. After further investigation it was discovered to be a dyer fire. Units extinguished the fire and vented the house. No injuries were reported. Units operated under the command of 5-30-30.
