Engine 13 Assists with Suppression Operations

Stone Harbor, NJ — December 14 — As part of a multi-agency assignment, Engine 13 of Stone Harbor Volunteer Fire Company #1, located at 175 96th St., responded to a reported fire. After arriving on the scene, Engine 13 was incorporated into the incident command structure to assist with continuing fireground operations.
In addition to supporting teams operating in the fire area with water and manpower when needed, the crew helped with suppression efforts. To ensure effective resource utilization, operations were coordinated with other responding departments and conducted in accordance with established safety protocols. Engine 13 stayed on the scene until tasks were finished and the situation stabilized. The unit was released by command, went back into service, and provided coverage for the Stone Harbor district.
