Tower 1550 Sets Ladders During Township Response

Marmora, NJ — December 21 — Units from the Marmora Volunteer Fire Company, which is situated at 40 N. Old Tuckahoe Road, responded to a district-wide emergency. Under established direction, Tower 1550 and Engine 1545 were sent to the spot.


In order to support interior operations, the Tower 1550 crew was given truck company duties, which included cutting many ventilation apertures and establishing ground ladders. Throughout the incident, Engine 1545 was stationed nearby and supplied water and men as needed. Assignments were coordinated by crews to guarantee effective and safe operations on the fireground. Units stayed on the scene until everything was finished and the situation was under control. The district's coverage was restored after Marmora Fire units were released and put back into service following the conclusion of operations.
