Churchill crews find trash cans on fire in garage

December 27, 2020 – Churchill, Allegheny County – At 9:10pm, fire crews were dispatched to the 2100 block of Garrick Drive for a reported house on fire. Police arrived and reported a fire inside an attached garage. Crews quickly arrived and found two trash cans on fire in the rear of the garage and quickly knocked down the fire. The trash cans were removed, and the fire was placed under control. Crews then stayed on-scene for about 45 minutes for overhaul and ventilation.
