Honey Brook Township, PA — August 20, 2026 —  During a strong storm on Thursday nite, fire and emergency medical personnel responded to a car accident involving six patients in the 1000 block of Twin County Road.

EMS and Honey Brook Fire Company Station 33 were called to a reported accident involving entrapment at 17:21. When Squad 33 arrived, they discovered an SUV that had collided with a tree. Five more people needed medical care, and the operator was incarcerated. Chief 33 took command and asked for more medical supplies.

With both local EMS units committed to other emergencies, Honey Brook Fire Company EMTs and firefighters began patient triage and initial care while additional medical units responded from outside the area. Crews also had to remove a large tree that had fallen onto the vehicle before the operator could be safely extricated.

Six patients were ultimately transported to area hospitals. Fire police closed Twin County Road for an extended period while crews worked at the scene and until the roadway could be cleared and reopened.

Honey Brook Fire Company reported that Chief 33 maintained command. The department also listed Ladder 33, Utility 33 and Traffic 33 among the responding company units. Mutual-aid resources included additional fire, ambulance and medical units, Pennsylvania State Police and Honey Brook Borough Police Department.
