December 18, 2025, daytime — Hammonton Fire Department units were assigned to standby coverage as crews from Mullica Township operated at a reported structure fire on the 600 block of Columbia Road, known as a Mullica Two response. Tower 9 and Tanker 9 were positioned to ensure continued fire protection coverage while neighboring units handled fireground operations.

Fire officials said the standby assignment helps maintain readiness for additional emergencies within the area while resources are committed to active incidents. No further details regarding the fire or injuries were immediately available.
