On Sunday, December 21, 2025, according to a post from Atlantic City Professional Firefighters NJ FMBA Local 8, local firefighters joined with community partners to conclude their annual Toys for Children campaign at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City. The event marked the distribution of toys to more than 250 Atlantic City children, following weeks of fundraising led by firefighters during the Black Friday weekend. Hosted by the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, the celebration featured cookies, hot chocolate, festive décor, and a special visit from Santa Claus, creating a memorable holiday experience for children and families. Organizers noted that all funds raised during the campaign went directly toward purchasing toys, with support from partners including The Irish Pub Atlantic City, Tanger Outlets, and Boxx for Tots. Firefighters expressed appreciation for the community’s generosity and emphasized their commitment to expanding the effort in future years to support even more local families.
