Friday, November 28, 2025 — Brigantine Professional Firefighters IAFF Local 2657 announced that the Brigantine Fire and EMS Department will host the 2025 Brigantine Beach Christmas Tree Lighting on Friday, December 5, at 5:30 p.m., marking the official start of the community’s holiday celebrations. The annual event, coordinated with the Brigantine Beach Chamber of Commerce, the City of Brigantine, Brigantine Community School, Brigantine Police, and Public Works, will take place at the Brigantine Fire Department at 15th Street South and West Brigantine Avenue. According to organizers, the family-friendly evening will feature a visit from Santa Claus, live music, dancing, guest character appearances, photo opportunities, and special gifts for children. Performances by the Brigantine Community School Choir and Casey’s Dance Studio are also scheduled, along with collaboration from the Presbyterian Church Christmas Bazaar. Fire officials encouraged residents and visitors to attend, noting the event traditionally brings the community together and supports local businesses through the Chamber’s Shop the Shore holiday initiative.
