Mocanaqua Volunteer Fire Company No. 1 responded on December 23, 2025, to a reported house fire on Sleepy Hollow Lane in Salem Township. Engine 118 F5 and Engine 1 arrived to find an active fire involving the main electrical distribution box supplying several nearby trailers, located approximately 15 feet from a residence. Crews secured the scene and requested the utility company, which was dispatched to handle the electrical hazard. Command of the incident was later transferred to 174 units upon their arrival. No injuries were reported.
