Early-Morning Residential Fire Brings Multi-Agency Response in Edwardsville

December 21, 2025 — Larksville Fire Department officials report that emergency crews responded to a residential structure fire early Sunday morning in Edwardsville Borough. The incident, logged as call 2025-377, was dispatched at approximately 6:55 a.m. and prompted a large, coordinated response as firefighters encountered active fire conditions at the residence. Larksville Engine 1 operated alongside Edwardsville’s Engine, Ladder, and Squad units, with additional support from Kingston Engine 1 and Tower 1. Medic 13A and Medic 10B provided EMS coverage, while Swoyersville Engine 279 relocated to Edwardsville Station for coverage. Hanover Township personnel were assigned as the Rapid Intervention Team, and both Larksville and Edwardsville police assisted with scene security and traffic control. Firefighters worked diligently to bring the blaze under control, and no injuries were reported. The American Red Cross was notified to assist displaced residents as crews completed overhaul and ensured the scene was safe.
