The Harwood Fire Company is offering residents a chance to escape winter and support their local fire service with a new fundraising raffle featuring a tropical all-inclusive vacation to Cancún.
Posted on December 2, 2025, Raffle #437 offers a four-night, adults-only all-inclusive getaway for two at the Riu Latino resort in Cancún, Mexico. The prize package includes roundtrip direct flights from Newark, shared airport transportation in Cancún, and accommodations in a junior suite with a partial ocean view. Winners will enjoy unlimited dining and drinks, daily entertainment, and access to beachfront and poolside amenities designed for a relaxing, child-free experience.
The vacation must be traveled between March 1 and May 21, 2026, with blackout dates from April 2 through April 8. The trip will be booked through Bea Amazed Travel within 10 days of the raffle drawing. Flights will be arranged on either United or JetBlue, depending on availability and cost for the selected travel dates.
Only 150 raffle tickets are being sold at $25 each, making the odds favorable for participants. Organizers note that the prize has no cash value, travel insurance is the responsibility of the winner, and a valid passport is required at the time of travel. Additional nights or passengers may be added at the winner’s expense.
Proceeds from the raffle will support the ongoing operations, equipment needs, and community services provided by the Harwood Fire Company, helping ensure continued protection for the area while offering supporters a chance at a dream vacation.
