Magnolia, NJ — December 24 — The Magnolia Fire Company 29 received a box alarm alert for a reported house fire in the Glendora Fire Company's first-due area right after Operation Santa was over. As the first-due ladder company and the first incident commander, Quint Company 29 and Deputy Chief 29 arrived at the same time. Quint Company 29 performed both outside and interior ladder company tasks when stationed on the Alpha side. While working with the first-due engine company, crews came across a fire involving the floor structure between the basement and first level. In order to stop the fire from spreading further, coordinated actions with mutual aid units helped contain and put it out. Until the situation was stabilized and the scene was made safe, operations went on. During the event, no injuries were recorded.
