December 18 —During their regularly scheduled Wednesday night bingo, Franklin Fire Company members responded to a car-related incident. A report of burning brakes led to the dispatch of Squad 41 and Engine 43 to Lincoln Way West at Sollenberger Road. After arriving on the site, crews promptly resolved the problem, reducing the risk and guaranteeing the area was secure. Units were able to clear the area without prolonged operations because to the effective handling of the response. There were no reported injuries.
