TLC Medic 60 and Company 57's fire and EMS teams reacted to a medical emergency that called for advanced care. Following the November 30th incident in the Fort Littleton area, Life Net 81 used the adjacent interchange as a landing zone.

In order to enable safe helicopter operations, crews set up and secured the landing zone and temporarily closed the interchange. The patient received prompt care and transportation thanks to coordination between fire, emergency medical services, and air medical professionals.

Units worked to clear the area and reopen the road after the helicopter left. All responding agencies were commended by the Hustontown Area Volunteer Fire Company for their cooperation and support throughout the operation.
