CAMPBELL HALL, NY – Campbell Hall Fire Department responded to a second-alarm structure fire at approximately 9:20 p.m. on December 22, 2025, at 24 Eager Road. At the time, Campbell Hall units were already operating at another structure fire at 8 Shea Road. The one-and-a-half-story residence was fully involved upon arrival. Mutual aid responded from New Windsor, Maybrook, Coldenham, Goshen, and the Air Guard, along with a tanker shuttle from Vails Gate and the Town of Montgomery. Town of Newburgh EMS was on scene, as well as the New York State Police and the Orange County Sheriff’s Office. Orange County Fire Investigators were also on scene. Firefighters operated handlines and conducted an exterior attack. Eager Road was closed during the incident. The fire is under investigation.
