Florence Township, New Jersey — December 7 — In response to a working home fire in Westampton Township, Ladder Tower 4015 of the Florence Twp. Fire Department, which has its headquarters at 401 Firehouse Lane, provided mutual aid. With a full crew of four firefighters, B Platoon reacted quickly.

Ladder Tower 4015 was tasked with search and first-floor overhaul upon arrival. Before being released and heading back to Florence, the crew worked internal tasks for slightly over an hour under established command. Dave Klenk, a recently assigned member of B Platoon, was responding to fire for the first time. During the assignment, he worked with more seasoned staff. Effective collaboration, secure operations, and ongoing support for regional mutual help were all evident in the reaction.
