(OCALA, FL.) Dec. 22, 2022 – On Saturday, Dec. 17 Ocala-Marion Mentorship (OMM) Cadets traded their helmets for Santa hats that made them look suspiciously like elves. Toting presents, groceries, and bicycles too, they embarked on a journey to bring cheer to people like me and you. Thanks to donations received by Pay It Forward Outreach OMM cadets were ready to go out, using a delivery route that would make St. Nick proud.

From a warehouse to quaint neighborhoods the parade of elves went, making sure the magic of Christmas reached those in need of help. A fire engine, a trailer, and a vehicle or two drove through Ocala delivering goods.

Fourteen families were blessed that day, but the number of people touched we cannot say. For everywhere the fire engine and cadet crew went, masses of children and parents came out to play.

What began as a delivery mission turned into a day of fun, reminding us that no matter what we have or what we get, Christmas is truly about sharing oursELVES.
