NEWBURGH, NY – Orange and Winona Lake FDs responded to a two-vehicle MVA with injuries on State Route 300 at the Exit 36B eastbound off-ramp on December 22, 2025. Town of Newburgh Police and EMS were on scene. Firefighters checked both vehicles for hazards and spread Speedy Dry on fluids in the roadway. Town of Newburgh EMS transported one patient to Montefiore St. Luke’s Hospital. State Route 300 southbound had one lane closed during the incident. Town of Newburgh Police are investigating the cause.
