Mystic, Connecticut — November 26 — When a rollover car collision occurred on Interstate 95 northbound between exits 88 and 89, the Old Mystic Fire Department (Official) was responding to the scene. Earlier in the day, there had been two rollover accidents in the region on I-95.

In collaboration with law enforcement and emergency medical services, firefighters worked to secure the car, control traffic hazards, and facilitate patient access. As efforts continued throughout the roadway, traffic management measures were put in place to safeguard both drivers and rescuers. Travel during the holidays frequently results in higher call activity and traffic volume. To assist prevent more incidents and maintain the safety of responders and the general public, fire authorities advised cars to slow down, pay attention, and exercise caution when approaching emergency scenes.
