December 17, 2025 — The Ballston Lake Fire Department issued a traffic advisory following an earlier motor vehicle crash that required the closure of Schauber Road.

Schauber Road remains closed between East Side Drive and Ashdown Road to allow emergency crews to safely manage the scene and complete necessary operations. Department officials emphasized that access to East Side Drive and Old Schauber Road is not affected by the closure, and Ashdown Road remains fully accessible.

Motorists are encouraged to plan alternate routes, follow posted detours, and use caution when traveling near the area as responders continue their work.
