Angelica Fire and Rescue Responds to Box Truck Rollover on I-86

February 17, 2026 — At approximately 9:13 a.m., Angelica Fire and Rescue was dispatched to Interstate 86 westbound between mile markers 111 and 110 in the Town of Angelica for a reported motor vehicle accident. Upon arrival, crews located a box truck that had overturned onto its side in the highway median. The sole occupant had self-extricated prior to responders’ arrival and was transported by MTS Ambulance to Jones Memorial Hospital for evaluation. Assisting at the scene were the New York State Police, New York State Department of Transportation, and Fleet Pride Towing. Emergency personnel secured the area and coordinated vehicle recovery efforts while traffic operations were managed.
