December 16, 2025 — The Westbrookville Volunteer Fire Company #1 expressed its appreciation to the Orange-Ulster BOCES CTE Automotive Technology morning group for servicing apparatus 34-62 as part of its annual preventative maintenance.

Students completed an oil change, air filter replacement, daytime running light repair, and a tire rotation, ensuring the vehicle remains ready for service. Department officials praised the students’ professionalism and quality of work.

The department also thanked Port Jervis City School District Principal Mr. Lazzaro for allowing a firefighter enrolled in another CTE program to transport the vehicle to C-Tech for service. Fire officials noted the strong cooperation between agencies and reaffirmed their support for youth career programs and hands-on training opportunities.
