November 30, 2025 — The Callicoon Fire Department, Station 63, marked the Thanksgiving holiday by taking part in several community events across the region.
On Friday, November 28, members participated in the annual Dworetsky Holiday Parade in Jeffersonville. The department continued its holiday celebrations on Saturday, November 29, 2025, by assisting with the annual Christmas tree lighting in Callicoon, where firefighters delivered Santa Claus and one of his elves aboard the department’s ladder truck.
In addition to public events, members also decorated the firehouse for the holiday season. Department officials thanked all members who volunteered their time to support and assist with each of the holiday activities.
