On December 19th at 10:36 pm the Lower Macungie Fire Department and the Emmaus Fire Department were dispatched for a dwelling fire at 5695 North Walnut st. in Lower Macungie Township. Assistant 81 went responding and was advised that a tree had blown over and tore wires down and landed on a car and the residents had light smoke in the house. Engine 7 arrived on the scene and had nothing showing and a crew was sent into the house to investigate the source of the smoke. The fire police secured the scene.
